I went out with some friends the other night and on my way to the Restaurant i shot these pictures from the car ! Good thing my little camera has a Digital Image Stabilization feature !

I went "Sunset Chasing" this evening and got the chance to take some beautiful pictures !

It rained today ! woohoo
After nearly 3 weeks of nothing but heat and humidity , we've finally received some liquid precipitation today ! YAY ! Our yard was a happy yard today !

The big roll of cloud you see on the first few pictures is called a "Outflow Boundary" or also known as 'Gust Front' !
These outflow boundaries are the leading edge of gusty and cooler surface winds from thunderstorms downdrafts !
This OB brought us gusts up to 27mph and once the rain started , a few minutes later , dropped the temperature from 100F Degrees down to 83F Degrees in a very short period of time. It felt great !
It was also very nice to look at ! You could actually see how the OB was rolling in and then WHAM!! , you got slammed with high gusts of winds ! Awesome ! :-)
